Oasis Village is located in a quieter part of Vilamoura near the stunning Mouragolf Village golf club and is best for couples and golfers looking to be out of the main action. It shares the facilities of the neighbouring Parque Mourabel complex, with its extra swimming pools, its restaurants and entertainment.

Modern apartments surround a landscaped pool area, which is great for kids. They are sizeable and include a balcony and fully equipped kitchen, with the superior and deluxe options boasting air conditioning and a lounge/dining room combination. The reception is serviced on a 24 hour basis plus there is also a tennis court and bicycle rental with lots of cute lanes and roads to explore in this quieter part of Vilamoura.

The onsite restaurant is a la carte and does traditional southern Portuguese cuisine indicative of the Algarve. There is also a bar and live music in the form of popular animation shows at Parque Mourabel, while kids have access to the children’s club plus childcare services are also on hand.

There are several excellent golf courses in Vilamoura, most being well within reach of with Oasis Village, including the top-end Mouragolf Village club. Be aware, however, that Oasis Village is around a mile from Vilamoura’s beaches, or about 30 minutes on foot. This is where the harbour is located, which has the best shopping, eating and entertainment.

Vilamoura Marina bustles day and night and you can take a trip here of the local coastal caves, with booking available from Oasis Village. There are also fishing and scuba diving trips on hand. The best restaurants are here, while neighbouring Quarteira is also loaded up with amenities and is a lot cheaper. While not as tourist oriented, it is nonetheless friendly.

Fine beaches go out from either side of the marina, with the pick of the amenities at the harbour end. Plenty of chairs and parasols run right along the front of Vilamoura on down to Quarteira, and the beaches are nice where visitors can enjoy all sorts of water sports. You might also like to check out the ancient Roman relics of Cerro da Vila, near the marina.

Many visitors also choose to rent a car and there is lots of scope here, with stunning traditional villages all around, such as Silves off to the west. Buzzing Albufeira, with its golden beaches, is also close by, while Faro has the airport and is a 20-minute transfer away.
